SCCM Texas Chapter Volunteer Postings – October 2017

Area Communications Coordinator (El Paso)

  • Duties: Assist in communication of area meetings to the membership.  This will include interpretation and dissemination of meeting information from the program committee through the SCCM Texas Chapter Gmail account.  In addition, RSVP management assistance may also occasionally be needed.  Experience with Gmail is helpful but not necessary.
  • Average Time Commitment: 1 hour/month

Program Coordinator (Houston)

  • Volunteer Duties: Coordinate educational programming on a monthly basis in the Houston area, including but not limited to reaching out to the sponsor to identify potential topics and locations for meetings and working with the programs chair to disseminate details to the chapter, attend chapter meetings on a regular basis
  • Average Time Commitment: 1 hour per week

Program Coordinator (Dallas)

  • Duties: Coordinate educational programming on a monthly basis in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, including but not limited to reaching out to the sponsor to identify potential topics and locations for meetings and working with the programs chair to disseminate details to the chapter, attend chapter meetings on a regular basis
  • Average Time Commitment: 1 hour per week

Program Committee Volunteer (Houston)

  • Volunteer Duties: Assist Houston program coordinator with organizing monthly programming in the Houston area, including reaching out to the sponsor to confirm meeting details and reviewing program attendance to report to the executive committee
  • Average Time Commitment: 2-4 hours/month
